Terms and privacy for print accounts

Draft — legal review pending. These terms apply in addition to the general terms and the privacy statement, for an account you create yourself on prints.oikoi.nl (a “print account”).

1. What a print account is

1. With a print account you upload your own photos, make albums and photo books, and order photo books and prints. There is no circle, no conversations and nothing is shared: your photos are for you only.
2. Your account only works once you have confirmed your email address. You choose a country of residence where we deliver (EU/EEA, Switzerland, United Kingdom); Oikoi is not available in some countries.
3. You get 2 GB of free storage. There is a daily upload limit.

2. Retention

1. We keep your photos, albums and books until six months after your last upload or order. Only logging in does not extend that period.
2. We email you thirty and seven days before the end. If you then order something or upload a photo, the six months start again.
3. After the end we delete your account with your photos, albums and books. We delete the print files of an ordered book thirty days after delivery. Invoices and order data (without images) are kept for as long as the law requires.
4. With a subscription there is no end date while it runs. You can also delete your account yourself at any time.

3. What is not allowed

1. You only upload photos you hold the rights to or have permission for. No unlawful content, no sexual material involving minors, no images showing someone in an intimate situation without consent, no incitement to violence or terrorism.
2. We do not check uploads in advance. Following a report or an order from a competent authority we may remove content and block or delete an account. Reports: meldingen@oikoi.nl.

4. Printer and privacy

1. Photo books and prints are printed and shipped by Profotonet (the Netherlands). For an order, Profotonet receives the print files and your delivery address; Profotonet processes them as a processor on our behalf and only to make and deliver your order.
2. We process your name, email address, country of residence, password (hashed), your photos and your orders to provide the service (performance of the contract). Payments are handled by Mollie. We show no advertising and sell nothing on.
3. If you are later invited to Oikoi at the same email address, you can convert your print account into a regular Oikoi account; your albums, photos and orders remain.
